Velsicol is a large chemical company specializing in plasticizers. They also produce additives for the food industry.

Velsicol was founded in 1931. It is currently owned by Arsenal Capital, after its acquisition in 2005. It is currently headquartered in Rosemont Illinois.

It has additional facilities in Chattanooga Tennessee, Chestertown Maryland, Memphis Tennessee, and Kohtla-Järve Estonia.

Their facility in St Louis, Michigan is the source of what became the Pine River Superfund Site. At that location (called Michigan Chemical, even after Velsicol's acquisition in 1963) both DDT and PBB were produced.
