Source your information at least occasionally. You have fantastic images. Use them right away and use them throughout. Just because she put them where they are doesn’t mean you have to leave them. This is your page. OWN it. Interesting internal links. But give context. Why do you have a section on invasives? Are they an issue of Lake Michigan? If so, link invasives page to the section where you explain why they are a Lake Michigan issue. I don’t have a clue what “Lake Michigan Tributary Access” means. Write English. Are these the rivers that flow into the lake? Then say so. Long list of items linked to empty pages seems excessive. I realize you hope others fill those out, but maybe you need to compromise a bit. You have a lot of timely information – news stories, description of coast guard shooting controversy. Will you be constantly updating them? That’s quite a load. I'm not sure that's going to happen. And is Coast Guard controversy too parochial?? Your item is titled Coast Guard Shooting Ranges. But that doesn’t capture what this issue is about. Do you think it appropriate for a Lake Michigan entry when it is a basinwide issue? You can convince me, but I'm not sure. None of the issues you list under Areas of Concern are areas of concern. They are problem areas, but they have not been designated as areas of concern by the U.S. and Canadian governments. The graphic is not explained and it means nothing by itself Can you get S.Wallace to identify her photos. Which lighthouses? What am I looking at? Dave |
