I removed the reference that this is simply a portal to Wikipedia's green energy discussion. We owe much to Wikipedia and we should link where appropriate.

But the Great Lakes Wiki should encourage original content supported by links to a variety of relevant information. It is a community distinct from Wikipedia and should strive to maintain that identity. Dave
