Pigeon RiverFrom Great Lakes WikiThe Pegeon river feeds into Lake Michigan near the Consumers Energy Campbell Generating Complex. The river is accessible from Port Scheldon, via Hemlock Crossing[1] or Pine Bend parks off US-31 near Croswell and Port Sheldon road. River access is also avalable via Pigeon Creek Park[2]. There are hiking and skiing trails on both sides of the river. The north side is scenic with lots of options for distance and difficulty. Both are good for cross-country skiing. |
