Energy-Forecast Modeling: Dr. Andy Bardwell will provide training on how to use his free energy-demand modeling software, REALCost. It models the costs of electrical generation from individual resources or entire systems, and is an alternative to the “black box” analyses utilities often use to justify their plans. Nancy also details her time as an energy activist at the Democratic National Convention. The Power of Energy Efficiency: Glenn Cannon, former head of the American Municipal Power Assoc., speaks to utility groups and trade associations about energy efficiency’s great importance and opportunity.
