The Interlochen Arts Academy, or IAA, is a boarding school devoted to preserving and nurturing the development of all the arts genres in high school students in northwestern Michigan.

In addition to nationally acclaimed recognition for their excellence in the arts, IAA also has a diverse and high standard academic program, including a very popular ECOLOGY class taught by Mike Chamberlin. Many students have vowed, no matter where their artistic area is, to leave the school and devote their art form to increasing the awareness of the importance of understanding and preserving our environment.
