Come join with hundreds of farmers, bike riders, green builders, water keepers, business owners, teachers, artists, healers, students and neighbors. The Bioneers are engaged citizens from all walks of life who focus on solving our most urgent proglems within a framework of interdependence: "It's all connected."

Taking care of nature means taking care of people - and taking care of people means taking care of nature. Bioneers take a "solve-the-whole-problem" approach that is holistic, systemic and multidisciplinary.

The 2008 Great Lakes Bioneers Conference will be held in Traverse City, MI on the beautiful campus of Northwestern Michigan University during the third weekend of October. Friday, Oct. 17 - Sunday, Oct. 19th. Register and make tangible connections to Great Lakes wisdom and resources, delicious local foods and talent, and terrific opportunities to strengthen networks fighting against despair.
