• Early Archaic 8,000 B.C. to 6,000 B.C.
• Middle Archaic 6,000 to 3,000 B.C.
• Late Archaic 3,000 to 600 B.C.
• Early Woodland 600 B.C. to 300 B.C.
• Middle Woodland AD 300 to 500/600 A.D.
• Late Woodland 500/600 A.D. to 1620 A.D.
• Historic Contact 1620 to 1830
