Detroit International Jazz Festival

Every Labor Day, the Motor City Capital hosts the three day festival of jazz's greatest. Six stages and over 100 hundred acts makes this a huge event. Began in 1980 it was the Montreux-Detroit Jazz festival, founded by Robert McCabe and the Detroit Renaissance.

The festival features many major international jazz artists and celebrates the contribution of Detroit's jazz musicians to the world of jazz music.
